Summer Day Camp

The Royal Oak School District is pleased to bring your child a fun and educational program.  The camp's enrollment is open to those children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade.  The camp is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   

"The Summer Day Camp" is staffed with qualified Royal Oak personnel that are looking forward to giving your child a wonderful summer day camp experience.  Each year, a theme is selected, and activities are centered around that theme.

  Homeroom and Orientation

  Snack and Juice

   (Gym/Outside - Kindergarten through 2nd grade)

11:00 a.m.

   Homeroom - Lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

   ALL GRADES - QUIET TIME/Reading Club

12:30 p.m.

   Gym Time for 3rd - 5th Grade

1:00 p.m.

   Gym Time for Kindergarten. - 2nd Grade

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Summer Day Camp Fees

2010

Closed MONDAY, July 5, 2010

  • Registration Fee:  $50.00

  • There is a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 for all new registrants.  If you are already registered in the 2009-10 Young Oaks or Acorn program, the non-refundable fee is $30.00.

  • The fee for "The Summer Day Camp" is $170.00 per full week (minimum five week use), 10% discount on additional children in the family. 

  • Variable Plan:  The minimum enrollment is 25 days at $41.00 per day. 

  • Fees include daily morning and afternoon snacks, activities, supplies, in-house events, and weekly field trips.
