Information includes current trends and "little known statistics" about teens abusing alcohol and drugs. Learn about the warning signs, effective communication techniques and how you can help your kids to “think first” before using alcohol or drugs.
This is the second informal talk in a year-long 2010 Parent Empowerment Series presented by Beaumont Children's Hospital and the Royal Oak Neighborhood Schools. The event will be held Tuesday, February 16, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Northwood Elementary School, 926 W. Twelve Mile Road, Royal Oak.
