| 45 students from our 8th grade Concert Choir participated in the ShowChoir Workshop at the Macomb Center. They worked 12 hours with choreographer Andy Haines, learning how to sing, dance, and perform. Ten schools attended... 235 kids in all.
The music this year featured "Ride Like the Wind." Students also did an 80's Medley, including I Love Rock N Roll, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Jesse's Girl, Oh Mickey, and Thriller. These student leaders are now teaching the moves to the rest of the choir. You will see all of this performed in our June concert! Thanks Mrs. Mehringer for this information and pictures! |
