Students:  Don't forget - Tomorrow,  Tuesday, February 9, is a late start day.  1st hour begins at 9:30 a.m. 

Junior Class of 2011:  If you are interested in running for a class officer position, you may pick-up a nominating petition from Mrs. Marek in room 220 before or after school.  Petitions are due by tomorrow, February 9th to Mrs. Marek in room 220 by the end of the day.  Candidates must have at least a cumulative 2.75 GPA, no discipline referrals the previous two semesters in any class, and no attendance failures the previous two semesters in any class.  Positions are: PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, TREASURER, SECRETARY, HISTORIAN. 

Sophomores: If you are interested in attending the Hugh O’Brien (HOBY) Leadership Seminar pick up an application in the Student Service Center.  The due date is February 11th.  Please go to www.hoby.org for more information. 

Boys:  There will be an informational meeting for all boys interested in trying out for the Boys Golf Team on Wednesday, February 10th in room 159 at 3:05 p.m.  Questions can be directed to the Athletic Office.

International Club Members:  The next meeting of the International Club will be today, February 8 at 3:05 p.m. in room 118.  Come be a part of the club that is going places!

Knit/Crochet Club Members:  We will not meet on Tuesday next week.  We will meet on Wednesday, February 10th, at 3:05 p.m. in room 124.  Newcomers are welcome.  Bring a friend!

Creative Writers & Artists:  Submit your creative writing and visual art to the 2010 edition of Noesis.  Bring your pieces to room 141 or turn them in to your English teacher.  Take this opportunity to be part of the award winning Noesis!

Students:  Help support Business Professionals of America and buy a balloon gramfor your sweetie for only 75 cents.  See Mrs. Northey in room 157.  Hurry before it is too late.

Ping Pong Members:  There will be a meeting this Thursday (2/11) after school in room 124.  Be There!

"Journey" Grief Mini Course:  The Counseling Department is going to offer a Significant Loss Group for students who have had a parent, brother, sister, relative, or close friend die.  It will be a five week mini course held during the school day.  Each week it will run on a different hour so as to not always disrupt the same class.  If you would like to participate, please come down to the counseling office and sign up.  We will be running the mini-course in late February.  If you have any questions, please come and see Mrs. Knapp in the Student Service Center.

StudentsThe IMPACT Club is announcing its new meet time - Wednesday mornings from 7:15 - 7:45 a.m., beginning this Wednesday, February 10.  The place is still Room 226.  Come and be encouraged!
