Athletes: REVISED DATES If you plan on playing a spring sport you need to register in the Athletic Office on one of the following days:
Boys - Monday, March 8 from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.
Girls - Wednesday, March 10 from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.
Boys & Girls - Friday, March 12 from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.
You need a completed physical form, waivers and your pay to participate fee. If you played a previous sport your physical is on file. Try-outs begin March 15th for all spring sports!
Seniors: The Royal Oak Rotary Club Scholarship Application is available in the SSC. It is due March 11th. Students interested in applying should pick up an application as soon as possible.
Students: Please participate in ROHS Earth Day Poster Contest! Posters should be no more than 11" X 17" in size. Content should support an ecology concern and/or Earth Day. Posters are due by Wednesday, April 14, in room 301 (Graphics lab). 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prizes will be awarded. Posters will be displayed on ROHS halls for the Earth Day season. See Mrs. Booser, Ms. Shrode, Mr. Stinnett, or Mrs. Orth for more details. Thank you for you participation.
Sophomores who took AP American Government last semester: If you are interested in taking the AP Government Exam, you must pick up an application form the SSC or Mrs. Gogola. Application and checks are due no later than Friday, March 26.
Students: 36 yearbooks will be available to purchase online from February 22 - 26.
NHS Selection Information Packetdeadline is being extended. All packets are due back to Ms. Erwin in room 104 no later that Wednesday, March 3, at 3:30 p.m. If you received an invitation to submit information, please download the packet from the NHS website. Ms. Erwin is available before school for assistance.
Students & Staff: We are now recycling cell phones and print cartridges! Please bring in your old cell phones and used cartridges to the main office. Thank you!
Writer's Club Members: Our next meeting will be Monday, March 8. Please meet in the Media Center.
Authors and Artists: The deadline is close! Submit your creative writing and artwork to be part of Noesis, the award-winning creative arts magazine for ROHS.
Advanced Placement Government Students: There will be a short meeting on March 4 at 3:00 p.m. in room 238. We will be discussing the upcoming A.P. government exam.
Ravens: Volleyball Marathon packets are now being distributed. You can pick up your packet at lunch. This year Volleyball Marathon is only $45.00 Money is due by Friday, March 5, to receive a VBM T-shirt or by March 19th for no T-shirt. All proceeds go to the Rainbow Connection, so start fundraising now.
