Mrs. Landis' 6R Math Class (2009-2010)

My name is Karina Landis and I am one of the 6th grade math teachers here at the Royal Oak Middle School.  I am glad to have the opportunity to work with your 6th grade students.  As an effective teacher I hope to help guide your student to math proficiency and confidence through engaging instructional techniques and strategies.  We will be learning math in both conventional and creative ways.

IBMYP

During the 2009-2010 ROMS is continuing its IB (International Baccalaureate)-MYP (Middle Years Program) feasibility study.  The district is looking to evaluate the advantages of the IB program, the program's fit into ROMS' structure as well as ROMS' philosophy of education.  We are also interested in seeing how the ROMS students, parents, and teacher like it.

Click hereto see more about the IB program.
