New Northwood Project

| The new Northwood Elementary School, will be the first new school building in the Royal Oak School District since 1964. The ground breaking took place on March 22, 2007. Three hundred Northwood Elementary school children wearing hard hats assisted the dignitaries Dr. Thomas L. Moline, Superintendent of the Royal Oak School District; Royal Oak Schools Board of Education members; Tom Hoover, Royal Oak City Manager; and Jim Ellison, Royal Oak Mayor, at the ground breaking ceremonies. |



The new school will consist of 3 sections: A Gymnasium, Office/Media Center, and Classrooms:
