Dear Parents and Students,

As the new Principal of Oak Ridge Elementary, it is my honor to be a member of the Oak Ridge Community, and serve in this capacity. Oak Ridge enjoys a strong tradition of academic excellence that is a result of the hard work and dedication given by students, teachers, parents, and community members. It is my strong belief that all of these stakeholder’s input are essential to the success of our students. My goal and promise is to continue this strong academic tradition and to make Oak Ridge an exemplary elementary school for years to come.

I have been a lifelong member of Royal Oak and am proud to call it my hometown. My wife Laci, and my three kids Isabela, Olivia, and Maddox enjoy many of the great things Royal Oak has to offer. It has been my privilege to return to Royal Oak Schools. I am a graduate of Royal Oak Schools having actually attended Oak Ridge Elementary. Before returning to Oak Ridge Elementary, I served as Assistant Principal at Royal Oak Middle School, and teacher at Lakeland High School, in White Lake, Michigan. I can truly say there is no other place I would rather be than here at Oak Ridge.

It is our vision and mission to commit to every student’s academic achievement, personal development, and social responsibility. We plan to accomplish this by engaging all students through the use of differentiated instruction and connecting curriculum to students prior knowledge. When students leave Oak Ridge, we want them to be self directed, lifelong learners who are committed to their educational success. With your assistance, we will achieve this goal.
