This year in Social Studies... Welcome to the 08-09 school year. It is going to be fantastic! We use the themes of Place, Location, Movement, Human Environment Interaction and Region to learn about the Eastern Hemisphere. If your child brings home a textbook to finish work, please make sure they return it the next day. We only have 32 books to share with about 115 students. |
What's going on now...
We just finished up our unit on Ancient History. We will spend the next few weeks learning about the Semitic religions...Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We will then focus on the 5 Themes of Geography. Remember to keep track of your child’s grade by checking PIV regularly. Homework is available on the website daily.
