“As a human being it is our job to hear both sides of a story. We may not agree with the other story, but we should still listen.”
These are my opening statements to this section. The statement then continues with “ It is not my job to change your minds or beliefs, but to let you know what some people’s ideas might be.”
Science is full of a lot of theories. They are called theories because they are there to be questioned. The students have questions, and just like through all of our lives, we have to find answers for ourselves. I am proud to let these students find their own answers.
Just as we teach about different religions and beliefs in Social Studies class, in Science we continue on the same track teaching that it is a big world, and to ask questions makes us compassionate, smarter, and better people.
