Geography with Mrs. Bernhart

During my twenty-one years of teaching, I have taught third through eighth grade. My last ten years have been in Royal Oak teaching seventh grade geography. I have my teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University and a master's degree from Oakland University. We have a 28 year old son, Jonanthan, and a 26 year old daughter, Jennifer. The newest addition to my family is my grandaughter, Eve Nicole, who is 2 years old. In my free time I enjoy being with my family as well as gourmet cooking, dancing, reading, and riding a Harley motorcycle.

Geography Curriculum
Main focus will be culture and history. Areas of study will be explored through a thematic approach. These include world religions, government, economics, effects of colonization, globalization, global issues, and conflict.
