For the 2013-2014 School Year:
At the November 8, 2012 Royal Oak School District Board of Education meeting, the Board approved Schools of Choice for the 2013-2014 School Year. The District will accept kindergarten through third grade eligible applicants, on a per building space available basis, for the 2013-14 school year. Students must reside in Oakland County.

Beginning May 1, 2013 through August 16, 2013 applications will be available on the District website, http://www.royaloakschools.com  and at the Administration Building, 1123 Lexington Blvd., Royal Oak.

On June 13, 2013, the Board of Education approved Limited Schools of Choice Section 105, on a per building space available basis, for the 2013-14 School Year as follows:

  • 4th grade - 5 seats
  • 5th grade - 5 seats
  • 6th grade - 5 seats
  • 7th grade - 5 seats
  • 8th grade - 5 seats

Applications will be taken for the limited number of seats in the above specified grades July 9th through July 26, 2013.
