The purpose of Upton Elementary School is to ensure high levels of learning for ALL students.

Upton Elementary School's staff, parents and community work together to ensure that every student is academically, socially, culturally and emotionally successful in our family-oriented environment.

• Upton's flexibly grouped 1st and 2nd grade literacy program offers students small group, targeted instruction with a highly qualified team of teachers who use researched-based techniques.
  
• The 3rd and 4th grade literacy program continues these flexible groupings with another team of highly qualified teachers.

Working in partnership, we strive to advance every student's learning by providing challenging instruction in a respectful, safe, diverse and technological environment.
