UNDERSTANDING ATTENTION/DEFICIT DISORDER FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS - Children are being diagnosed with many disorders these days, such as ADHD, ODD, Autism, PDD, and so on. This workshop can help you understand the signs and symptoms to look for, to decipher between age appropriate behaviors and maladaptive ones.  It will explain how to advocate for your child and how medicine is not the only option.
    Mary Michail is a seasoned therapist with over 18 years experience with children, adolescents, and families.

USING BEHAVIORAL PLANS TO MANAGE CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS - This seminar will help you set-up a behavioral plan for one or all of your children to assist in diffusing negative behaviors.  Behavioral plans are specific to each individual and designed to encourage your child to want to behave appropriately and positively.  This workshop is a must for parents or anyone working with children who suffer from ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Behaviors, Depression, Anxiety, and so on.  Attending the ADD seminar is not required to attend this seminar.

ASSERTIVE COMMUNICATION - Is this you?  I have trouble with people taking advantage of me. I have trouble asking for help or a favor from others.  This class is designed to teach you the difference between passive, assertive, and aggressive communication.  You will learn strategies to overcome the above issues.
